The trail system has one main parking area located along State Route 44 on the site of the old CCC camp S-82-PA, about a mile south of Haneyville. Overall, there are 17.8 miles of
trail in the system that vary in difficulty. The trails are mostly narrow and somewhat rough woodland trails. Some trails have optional challenges such as hill climbs and deep mud pits.
There are also several scenic vistas of the surrounding deep valleys.
Some better directions to the Parking area
If you're plan to visit the Haneyville ATV trail, the easiest way to get to the trail is from Interstate 220. Take the Pine Creek exit from either 220 North or 220 South and once you're
up the ramp turn towards State Route 44 North. You'll travel up 44 north for about 20 minutes and you'll come to Waterville. You'll travel through Waterville and cross the bridge. Soon after the bridge
you'll see State route 44 turn sharply to left. Follow 44 and head up the mountain for about 5 to 7 minutes. Watch closely because the parking area is rather hidden and it will be on your right side.
If you make it to the stop sign at the top and you see the Mountain Top Inn, you've gone too far. Turn around and head back down and it will be soon on your left. Thank you for visiting Pine Creek Valley.com!
