This is a small quote from the book Pioneer Life; Thirty Years a Hunter, by Philip Tome. The parking area for Rattlesnake Rock is what I believe to be the nicest, must stop, parking location on the Pine Creek Rail Trail. By the rock you'll find a very deep fishing, and or swimming hole. As always be careful when walking on the rock. Rattlesnake Rock doesn't have that name for nothing, if you know anything about where rattle snakes like to hide you'll easily see why they would like this rock. |
